The Mares

After many years of breeding we are retaining many lovely mares for the farm as part of our ongoing breeding programme. Some of our “home bred mares” are:

Our most recent acquisition is the beautiful

Windemere Sar Monique

(She is shown winning Champion Mare at the 2005 Pan Pacific with Wade Bailey)

She was shown at two (2) shows for the farm as a fourteen (14) year old Broodmare. At her first show the 2005 “A” Class Pan Pacific she was Champion Mare under an international judge.

At her second show, the prestigious 2005 “AA” Class Queensland Challenge, Windermere Sar Monique was first in the Broodmare class and was then awarded Reserve State Champion Mare, over beautiful mares many years her junior.

Windemere Sar Monique was purchased specifically to breed to our premier stallion Romarno.

We are thrilled with the resultant 2006 grey colt foal Bacchante Romaero and have rebred Windemere Sar Monique back to Romarno for a 2007 full sibling.
